Smoulder

In the crevices of my heart and hips
Knots of fury burrow
Tucked in tightly through swallowed words
Filthy looks and disappointment

Bubbles of anger thickly rise
Pushed aside by shame
Overwhelming shallow breaths
My utmost grimacing smile
